“You must first be who you really are, then do what you need to do, in order to have what you want.” ―Margaret Young. You Are Your PurposeI came to understand something recently in a deeper way than I have before.... Your life purpose is about being who you are. It's about who you came here to be, not what you came here to do. What that means is that you have been living your purpose all of your life, to the degree that you have been fully yourself. Even with false layers hiding parts of who we are, we cannot help having moments where who we are touches the life of another. Soother of the spirit, champion of nurturing change. Nurturing peace in the world through deep care, heartfelt exchange. You infuse the room with lightness, a generous, compassionate guide. Mindful student of emotion, body and soul, and the truths we try to hide. You engender hope and teach comfort however you can. - Jennifer Kem, Healer Archetype Recently, I took a business brand archetype quiz created by Jennifer Kem, and in the quote she describes the healer brand archetype, which was my result. What was clear to me was that your brand archetype is informed by who you are, not by anything you have done or intend to do. But being those things would likely inspire certain actions, as opposed to others. And it certainly could lead to the choice of one kind of job or career over others. I think this is the way life purpose works. Do you agree? Your Life Purpose is not about |
