This Aries eclipse offers us a chance to take stock of our journey so far. And it's important to look at the things that may have been triggers for us in the past, and to ask ourselves if we have grown past them.
Have we moved on from the issues that used to cause us pain and upset? Are we able to see things from a different perspective?
But it's also a time to recognize that we have already come a long way. It is a chance to look at the lessons we have learned and the changes we have made, and to celebrate our growth.
Becoming Your Future Self
Use this Aries eclipse as an opportunity to look ahead and ask yourself who you want to be in the future.
What would you have to let go of in order to become your future self? What do you want to create in your life, and what can you do to move closer to your dreams?
This is a time of really leaning into what you know about who you are at a soul level, and what you know about your future self. How have you changed, grown, and evolved? What steps can you take to move closer to the person you want to be?
This can be a special time of self-reflection, and it's an opportunity to call it done and to neutralize the things that trigger us.
As we move through this Aries eclipse, let us recognize that we have already grown past it, and that we are capable of even more.
Neutralize the Things that Trigger You
You may be bound to a situation or person that is detrimental to your wellbeing. Are you ready to unlock the chains? - Penumbra Tarot
Here are 5 steps you can take to detach yourself from unhealthy reactions and empower yourself to respond, instead...
(1) Think about the situation or person who triggers the reaction in you.
What kind of thoughts come to mind, and how does it make you feel? Write them down.
(2) Ask yourself which memories from the past made you think and feel the same way. They are what fuels your hair-trigger reaction.
(3) How can you begin to make peace with or heal them?
(4) How can you rewrite those stories so that you can rewrite this one?
(5) Keep chipping away at it until you begin to react less and respond more.
Letting Go Meditation
Find a comfortable seated position and close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths in and out. Allow your mind to drift and focus on the feelings of being calm.
Visualize yourself in a peaceful and calming place. This could be a beach, a forest, or any other place that soothes you or brings you peace.
Now, imagine yourself releasing all of the emotions, thoughts, feelings and experiences that have been causing you distress or triggering you. Picture them floating away from you until they are out of sight.
Allow yourself to become aware of the peace that comes with being free from these triggers. Feel the relief of letting them go.
Now bring your awareness to your body. Feel any remaining tension and stress leaving your body as you take a few more deep breaths in and out.
When you are ready, slowly open your eyes.
(1) How did it feel to let go of the emotions and triggers that have been causing stress?
(2) What did I learn about myself?
(3) How has this process changed me?
(4) What kinds of things can I do to avoid reacting in the old ways in the future?
(5) If I do get triggered, what can I do to nurture myself?
Self-Love Celebration Ritual
To celebrate your growth, create a self-love ritual to honor yourself. This could be as simple as lighting a candle and writing down how you've grown, or as elaborate as creating a special ceremony. The key is to take a few moments to pause and give thanks for the journey we have made, and the lessons we have learned.

My Mission & I Choose to Accept it
This year, and this month, particularly, I intend to offer inspiration, information and encouragement that will empower you to let go of and heal the core wounds, core beliefs and the connected painful feelings that are holding you back.
When you can let go of and heal whatever is in your way, it will not only move you farther along the self-love journey, but also give you the ability to create a life you love - not someday in the future, but every day.
We are so disempowered when we haven't healed.

My mission for my own life this year is to heal myself and empower my own transformation. Mind you, that has been my mission for decades now.
And a lot has healed!
But still, somehow, I have managed to hold myself back while simultaneously working really hard, and getting nowhere fast.
Why and how? I've been on a quest to find the secret, the holy grail that would finally empower me to be successful and make the money I wanted and needed to make. And I hustled like a mofo trying to get after it, but nothing worked.
Well, here's what finally sunk in...
I realized that I am already empowered to create the life I want. But the reason I've been stuck is that right after asking for what I want and while being very busy trying to create it, I am basically, holding up a stop sign to the universe.
And here's the thing - I also didn't have any kind of trust that I could create the big life I dreamed of, so I worried it away from me.
I've been a Mack truck in neutral, succumbed to life, instead of being an empowered co-creator with it.
It got worse after my life went to hell several years ago! The result - poverty, financial and food insecurity, more depression, more anxiety and a sense of hopelessness that was a constant struggle for me.
But Here's What Has Changed!
I finally got the message that busy work is a trap that doesn't lead anywhere good, and that contrary to popular opinion, the hustle is NOT my solution, or my ticket out of the life I have now and into the life that's waiting for me.
My empowered path is a path of healing. With healing as my top priority, and biggest time and energy commitment. And some of that healing is going to look a lot like rest and not doing much of anything.
What I can do for you is the easy part for me. I am rolling in, flush with and full of ways to heal and ways to help, and amazing stuff I can teach. But that is not what is most important, right now.
It's gotta be me! And I have to tell you, I'm excited about that. It's a daily flip of the switch, because "put your nose to the grindstone" is a core belief for me.
But finally, I really trust that that is not my purpose.
And I'm so happy to finally get it. I'm quite optimistic about this new year.
The Dreamer's Journey Begins Again
Thank goodness, I have never given up on myself - for long! And I have come to love myself more and more. Been working on trust as a spiritual practice..
I've learned that slow living and a simpler life are antidotes to the hamster wheel & the tyranny of the never-ending to-do list and that I have to make that the center of my life plan.
I've learned in a deeper way than ever before that healing the past and firing it as a predictor of the future is a thing I must do.
I've learned that in order to do that I'm going to have to rewire my brain and evict all of the feelings that have been hanging around rent-free.
And I've learned that as I do that, I will become more and more likely to attract the people I came here to help and get paid to do it.
And that, of course, will change my life.
