How to Begin Your Journey of Self-Healing & ManifestationAre you ready to create a healing vision quest experience? In yesterday’s post, I suggested that you design a vision quest that you could do at home to take advantage of the astrological changes happening today and tomorrow. We have Venus in Gemini trining Pluto in Aquarius, which offers you support for transformation in the way you see and express yourself, the way you connect with others in your life and bring you insights about who you are. You also may find it easier to set intentions and take action on them. With some positive opportunities coming along to help you make your dreams come true. As the Sun conjuncts Chiron in Aries, it could offer you a time of deep healing and transformation. As the Sun brings light and energy to any wounded areas of your life, it also will shed light on the fears, doubts and insecurities that you have been carrying. In terms of manifesting what you want in life, this transit can help you to become more confident and clear in your vision of what you want. It can also give you the courage to take action and help you to manifest your dreams and desires. But what I think might be the most powerful transformation is that it can help you to forgive yourself and others, as you accept and let go of your past wounds and mistakes. Taking advantage of all of these opportunities will require some time and space to reflect on what's going on for you, right now. Ideas for Your At-Home Vision QuestReady to get started? Create a cozy space for this grand thinking, hopefully one with a view, or actually go for a walk in nature. Then, settle down with a cup of tea and your journal and get ready to create your future. Try this meditation: take a few deep breaths. Bring to mind the astrological changes happening during the next few days, and focus on the new energy and potential they offer. Let this energy infuse your body and mind and ask yourself, what do I really want to manifest in my life? What am I ready to heal? Take some time to write down any insights that come up for you. Here are some more reflection questions or journal prompts you can use to get clear about what you want to manifest… (1) What is my deepest longing? (2) What do I need to be happy and fulfilled? What will bring me joy? What do I truly desire? Take a few moments to allow these questions to settle within you. Notice any areas of discomfort, and be sure to honor and acknowledge them. Once you have identified what it is you want, make sure you know why you want it. This is important because your intentions must come from a place of alignment and clarity. Now that you are clear about what you want, it’s time to set your intentions. Make your intentions clear, specific, actionable and positive. Also, include how you expect to feel. Then spend a moment connecting with those feelings for each intention you set and imagine them coming true. Make your intention statements short but powerful. And write them in the present tense, as if they already exist. Here’s an affirmation you can use to support your intentions… Affirmation: I am confident in my ability to create what I want in my life. I trust that I have the resources and internal power to make it happen. Another way to nurture your intentions is to practice self-care. Self-care is an important part of any transformation process, as it help you maintain your focus, keep the faith and your energy levels up and help you raise your vibration to support manifesting what you want. Take some time each day to focus on what makes you feel nurtured & comforted, but also grounded. Also, make sure you're getting enough rest and giving your body healthy foods. I especially appreciate the affirmation and also discussion of the importance of self-compassion. You talk about how it's important to be kind to ourselves, even when we're making mistakes. This is something that I've struggled with in the past, and it's something that I'm still working on. But your words have given me hope that I can learn to be more compassionate towards myself.

Jeanine, I can't honestly relate to the astrological influences. I think any day is a good day for self-care and for asking these great questions. In fact, after my upcoming meeting, I think I'll take some journaling time for those questions! Blessings to you!
