I have come to realize that in creating the lifestyle I believe I am meant to have, I have been leaving out fun and sometimes, self-care. So since today is National Fun at Work Day, I decided to make a post about it and explore the topic more. Here are 4 Ways to have more fun at work...  I tend to combine several of the ideas on the list. I take breaks and watch YouTube videos where people are dancing. There's a weatherman named Nick Kosir who dances all the time, especially to that Lil Boo Thang song. Those videos are really fun! But I need to make even more time for pleasure and fun, and I'm working on it. Do You Have Fun at Work?And if you do, what makes it fun? Self-care is so important. I love your artwork within your blog. I do focus on self-care throughout the day because I've neglected myself for way too long When Rich and I still had our business of 56 years, we always said it's not when you're having fun. We both enjoyed the aspects of our decorating business from designing, fabricating and installing the window treatments. It brought so much joy to see the expressions on our clients faces when they saw the finished product. Of course the other fun part which didn't make it seem like work... when Alex and Zac were young, they worked with us just like Lia has done! 1/26/2024 07:43:54 pm

I wasn’t having fun at work anymore. So I retired. Now I have a business from my home and love every moment! Yes I take time to walk with the dogs, do light house work in order to get up and move. Drink water is a biggy and for me, sleeping at night is a real treasure. Night shift just wasn’t working for me anymore. My body said, “Enough!” 1/27/2024 12:18:33 am

When I owned a business, we had picnics during the summer. It was great fun. I also like the idea of buying a coupon for an ice cream cone which "back in the day" you could $ 2.99. So many opportunities of have fun. 1/28/2024 09:52:15 am
