Clearing, Letting Go & HealingYesterday, I cleared a vow I made well over 40 years ago, formally opted out of a soul contract, and made a heart agreement that my soul will learn from things like rest, self-care and fun, instead of struggle and disappointment. I feel lighter than I have in years. But that healing was HARD! I had help, but I still had to move through resistance and so much anger I wondered how it all fit inside my body. And speaking of that question, I have no doubt that my body had to make room for it, so it did! Every month, the moon offers energetic support for letting go of what no longer serves you. But it's not for the faint of heart. Thank goodness you are so much stronger than you know. Full Moon & Sun Conjunct ChironToday, you still have the full moon highlighting things you may not have been aware of and helping you see yourself, your relationships and your life in a different way. And according to Molly McCord, author of Awakening Astrology, because the Sun is conjunct Chiron, you may find it easier to uncover and heal old wounds, and find alternative paths for what you want most right now. We also have or will have support from the North Node in Taurus this week... Stay focused on the quality of life you want to create and build. Everyday simple things that are nourishing and fortifying, that will help you stay grounded. - Molly McCord One thing I didn't mention above is how often I have been triggered in the past few days. Has that been happening to you, too? Know that it is likely to be temporary and the astrological or spiritual intention is a good one. It's to point out what still needs healing. Or areas in your life where things aren't quite what they seem. Pause for a moment now and see if your life has been grabbing your attention in more intense ways than usual. Anything pointing an arrow to letting something go? Or offering you a slightly different perspective? Happy Easter or Spiritual RenewalIf you celebrate Easter or use the holiday to celebrate spring, I wish you a beautiful weekend with your family or friends. My own faith is very progressive, but I am a Jesus follower who still loves Easter. And I think it's cool that this holiday dovetails so well with what is happening in the astrological world. Love you guys! Jeanine

I don't get into the influence of the sun and moon, but I do believe the Bible where it says, your thoughts determine who you are. Consequently, I have become intentional about what thoughts I allow to marinate in my mind, and I make it a point to forgive people who hurt me.

I find it interesting the read how things relate to moon and its phases. I use a moon planting calendar for my plants.

Thanks, Gloria! Well, wanting to get at the clutter is totally supported by what is happening right now. And you're so right, it feels lighter and better. Wish I were better at it, myself.

Letting (good things) go is hard for me. My son turns 15 this year. Last night he went out with his friends, which I was totally fine with. He has good friends.

Oh my gosh! My son is 22 and I so feel you on this. Happens to me every time I see a mom with young kids. I miss the younger versions of my son so much, even as I am proud as heck of the man he is becoming!

I have had to let go years ago but it's hard and that past keeps popping up in my head. I keep those in my prayers still in the hopes they will make a turn around. But we can't keep living in the past, I have so many wonderful things I'm hanging on to and will be with me forever. Happy Easter to you and your family.

Yes, that's the thing. It keeps popping up in your head. But I think it's wonderful that you pray for others who still have hope that things will turn around. Thanks, Martha! Give Lia a hug for me.

Ooh, me, too! Thanks. It surprised me. Not that I had anger, but how much I had. You're right, it was very freeing. Oh, that's great that you are good at letting go of things quickly. You have a wonderful weekend, too!

Astrology is interesting and if it helps in self healing its definitely a step forward.

Jeanine, I find the dynamics of release easier to understand than the this-trines-that level. :-) Certainly, releasing negative feelings and negative attachments is very important for our best living. Would you please explain how the Moon cycles support us in releasing? Long ago, I had an office-mate who said you pray your wishes at the time of the New Moon, and your wishes will be realized/come to fruition at the Full Moon. In my own life, I am a Jesus follower, and I notice prayers are answered daily and hourly. But I still want to understand how Moon cycles are said to affect us. Thanks!

Well, that is a great point, Kebba! You can pray and ask for help any time of the day or night. No one has to wait for different moon phases. But some people find that they enjoy the rhythm of following the moon phases and others find that different moon signs in those phases give them extra support for changes they want to make. The new moon is, indeed, said to be good for setting intentions. The full moon is a wonderful time to celebrate if your intentions have come to pass. If not, it's a good time to consider what you might need to let go of in order to help make your intentions come true. Does that make sense?
