Are mornings a challenge for you? If so, you're not alone. I've got several tips that may make your morning routine easier, and I've also included helpful suggestions for the rest of your day...
Morning Routine Tips
The most important thing you can do to make mornings easier is to start slow, and ease into your day.
Build soul-nourishing coziness into your morning routine, and pace yourself. You're likely to find that a slow morning routine works best.
If so, take a lengthy pause before moving on to whatever's next in your day. Have a cup of tea, and relax for a while.
And do this - make the tea in advance, so all you have to do is pour.
Get a cozy to keep your teapot warm while you get ready. If you want to set up everything the night before (your clothes, the tea, etc.) that may make your mornings even easier.
For your pause break, you also could read a book or a magazine, cuddle with your loved ones, listen to soothing music or other activities that bring you pleasure.
Daily Routine Ideas
On the enlightenment path?
If mornings are difficult, wait until later in the day to meditate, do yoga poses, or even healing techniques if you're slow to come to life in the mornings. You're likely to find them both easier & more meaningful. |

Another slower life suggestion is to pause between all of your activities. Even if it's just to breathe, or stare at the trees blowing in the wind.
Create lots of cozy corners and spaces, so it's easier to stop where you are for a moment and take a break.
Cozy Evening Routines
Evening Routine - find whatever you can, from the day, and express gratitude. I totally understand how easy it can be to focus more on the negative than the positive. But I know that what you focus on expands, because I have experienced it over and over again in my own life.
It's important to acknowledge what didn't go well, but then try to let it go.
Imagine that each negative moment becomes the air that is filling a balloon and making it bigger. Then, visualize letting it go and watching it get farther and farther away, until you can't see it anymore.
Or, if it's easier, imagine a hot air balloon flying away as you let go of the day.
