"You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given you" - Sarah Ban Breathnach
Though we all feel gratitude at one time or another in our lives, we often have no idea how powerful it can be to help in our quest for abundance. And negativity can keep us from paying close enough attention to what's good in our lives to pause for gratitude.
Practicing gratitude requires a shift in the way we normally move through our days. Using essential oils is a great way to supercharge the big shifts you're trying to make because they support the change you're after, are a powerful workaround for resistance and can inspire feelings of happiness and gratitude.
When we are trying to create something big in our lives, we are often consciously all in, but there may be parts of us we aren't aware of that are trying to keep us safe. These parts sometimes lovingly sabotage our efforts without our awareness.
One example of this is thinking you are about to create content (maybe an opt-in offer), but instead you clean your desk, call your best friend, and decide to make an apple pie. You have been thinking you need to start working on it, and you know you're feeling a little unsure of yourself, but you intend to do it anyway.
Yet, somehow, it doesn't get done. Some part of you heard your fear and decided that you were in danger, and therefore, in need of protection, so it whispered other ideas into your head. There is more discussion of this problem in the mindset blocks section, but meanwhile, here's why aromatherapy is such a good abundance strategy and resource.
Essential oils don't hear, or answer to that inner voice, and they get the job done with or without your inner saboteur's permission. Here are specific ways they can help with gratitude...
Jasmine: "Promotes gratitude. Warms and opens the heart center. Helps you to live in and appreciate the present moment. Calms, soothes and relaxes. Has euphoric properties." - Joni Keim & Ruah Bull
Jasmine Clearing Ritual: Imagine that the jasmine is filling the space in your hands and absorbing everything that needs to heal in order for you to experience joy and gratitude.
Cup your hands together but not completely, as if there is a medium-sized ball between them. Hold the clear intention to send healing into that ball of energy.
Then, imagine that as it heals, it gets smaller and smaller and smaller, until your hands touch and it has been completely absorbed into love, along with everything that needed to heal.
